2017 Mondial du Bâtiment Innovation Awards
The expert panels of the 2017 Mondial du Bâtiment Innovation Awards and the Interclima+Elec, Ideobain, and Batimat trade shows, organised in partnership with ADEME (the French Environment & Energy Management Agency), have just announced their decisions: 89 nominees have been selected from the 217 applications.
The jury of nearly 100 representatives from the sector chose Dispatcher for the presentation of its “Smart Planning Solution” designed for construction and public works companies. Nominated in the “Digital, BIM, & New Technology” category, the resource management tool won over the judges with its highly diverse range of functions, responding in particular to the following three customer challenges:
- Working together on a collaborative and interactive company planning tool (most companies still generally use Excel)
- Optimising human resources and equipment; having an overview of site allocations over time in order to anticipate activity
- Avoiding organisational shortcomings, adapting to unforeseen problems on site, and sharing information between office, site, and workers (sending task instructions and allocation details by notification, text message, or email)
