Web and mobile technology for better management of work site equipment

Dispatcher offers construction stakeholders a Cloud-based management solution for optimising the use of work site equipment. As well as overseeing its customers’ internal fleet, Dispatcher connects to equipment rental companies and enables precise monitoring of rented machines. The company will be present at the Intermat Paris trade show from 20 to 25 April 2015 to present its innovative solution offering construction companies performance and efficiency gains.

Optimise overall equipment management

Equipment is the third largest expense on any work site, so it is essential to monitor it, optimise its use, and reduce its management costs. The use of rental machines also accounts for 40% to 60% of equipment expenditure. It is therefore crucial for construction and public works players to manage overall equipment use, in terms of both the internal fleet and rentals.

In this context, the choice of the right equipment in the right place is strategic, and the use of modern tools becomes essential.
Dispatcher has therefore chosen to use new mobile and web technologies to boost exchanges and optimise operations in real time.

An innovative solution on the market

Thanks to the Dispatcher platform, instant interaction between the various players is guaranteed. Work site equipment requirements are sent to the dispatcher or equipment manager who can simply allocate them internally or make quotation or reservation requests to rental companies.

Dispatcher combines the temporal and geographical dimensions of machines thanks to a company planning view, supplemented by work site mapping.
On-site, Dispatcher enables great flexibility, with employees being able to update their needs and report breakdowns or stoppages. The agency or dispatcher has better visibility over equipment allocations, and a history of operations also facilitates reporting. Rental companies receive listing requests in real time and can respond to them via their dedicated web platform or by text message.
Dispatcher relies on the simplicity of its mobile app for work sites as well as the responsiveness of its system, using text messages and notifications to facilitate access to the solution in the field.
Cloud-based solution: deployment is very rapid and data exchanges are secure. In addition, thanks to the use of the latest technologies, interfacing of the solution with business applications already used by customers is quick to implement.
