Adapted to site constraints thanks to a reinforced waterproof structure, the trackers are fitted with an <strong>accelerometer<\/strong>, a <strong>Sigfox<\/strong> antenna, and a <strong>GPS<\/strong>antenna. They are activated when they sense a vibration on the construction vehicle or equipment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the equipment is in motion, the tracker\ntransmits its GPS position <strong>every 10 minutes<\/strong>.\nWhen it comes to a stop, information on its journey is\nsent to the Dispatcher platform via the Sigfox telecommunications network.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This low-speed network makes it possible to send\na large amount of data per day with <strong>low\nenergy consumption<\/strong>:\nthis means that the units are <strong>self-powering\nfor up to five years<\/strong>. They also support\na sustainable approach, with the ability to replace their batteries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The trackers\nare <strong>easy\nto install and use<\/strong>, and provide\nreliable and consistent data for the entire fleet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the device is installed, <strong>\nbenefits are seen in several ways: <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1 \u2013\nEnhanced equipment traceability<\/strong>: full traceability\nis possible for pick-up and drop-off sites, as well as routes and\ntimes of operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2 \u2013\nGreater transparency between project stakeholders<\/strong>:\nTrackers\nprovide greater transparency of operations between\nall project stakeholders.
